That's exactly why I sold AOL. I was losing confidence in their business model back then. Nobody had tried what they were doing and they were having some pretty serious fundamental problems. What it really comes down to is that selling AOL was a symptom of my biggest weakness, not being enough of a visionary to appreciate the realistic potential.
