IntelligentSpeculator.com Thanks for the your take on the S&P's. I use similar parameters (I think this is one of the most popular combos) and also throw a 20 period BB on the chart. If there hasn't been a trend in a while (low ADX/VHF) I will also watch some of the standard oscillators. I'm not a big believer in using oscillators to trade but I know other groups what them so they can become self fulfilling prophecies. I figure there are many more minds brighter than mine who try to figure out all the correlations between everything I can possibly think of, but their actions are all over the S&P tape anyways That's the greatest thing about reading the chart (techical analysis), you don't need to do all the extra number crunching during the day...leave that to the big boys.
