I have not read any of the other SF luncheon recaps and it will be difficult to add anything new to the fine recaps from the Boston and NY presentation, but here goes...

1)Wave has the opportunity to touch all things digital and has the opportunity to become the security standard in the digital arena with our metering technology as a bonus.

2)PC-OEMS are very enthusiastic about Wave's metering technology but wanted more and hence the development of EMBASSY and it's added security features.

3) Wave will be focusing their energies and resources on deployment. Wave will have NO PROBLEM securing financing for mass deployment. They have been approached by several banks offering 50-100 million to finance their deployment needs.

4)EMBASSY is truly an amazing device. It can emulate many things, metering, smart cards. It can be programmed to handle things such as parental access control for limiting certain types of content and even control the the times that content can be consumed.

5)SDMI is having difficulty coming to a standard, however EMBASSY is a system that emulate any of the potential SDMI solutions.

6)Wave will be able to improve upon the recent ECML announcement. Digital wallets will need to be stored someplace. If they are put on a harddrive they are suspect to viruses and hacking. If they are put on a server and a hacker finds a security hole, all digital wallets are at risk. The only safe place is EMBASSY.

7)The chip in the HAUP card is easily exceeding revenue expections in this test. Keep in mind, Wave is well aware that many HAUP boards were purchased by investors. Wave has intentially put B level titles in the box and also intentially slowed the addition of other titles through Wave Direct. They want to study how a typical title sells and understand the life cycle of titles. (personally I loaded $50 in the meter and have spent $10 on minigolf for a one week rental. The thrill is sort of gone on mini golf, but if it comes back, if it comes back, I am 1/3 on the ay to owning it.)

8)I recommend that everyone re-read the AOL announcement from June 22 detailing their investment in Direct TV.

9)Intelicast will be testing live in 1 1/2 weeks. Fantastic gets and packages the content, Wave handles the transactions and access control and Sarnoff helps blend the technologies together. Intellicast will be able to broadcast 100 gigs of content daily with total clarity and up to 2000 gigs of content with some loss of clarity. This is very exciting technology.

Think about all the choices you will have DAILY with Intellicast. You won't have to enter your credit card all over the Internet and fill out annoying registrations, because it's all locked up in ONE PLACE, in your PC on you EMBASSY chip.

10)Wave orginally viewed N*able as another chip supplier but they have a security core where others like SMSC and ITE do not. N*able brings resources ie..engineering team, a security core in their chip and market relationships. Wave just found out that Nables product for Compaq won an award at PC EXPO ( my notes were fuzzy on this)

The 2.5 million shares going to N*able will not be able to be sold for a year. At todays $15.80 close, N*able was worth about 39million and I suspect that the management at N*able expect their shares to be much higher one year from now.
I believe their acceptance of Wave stock bodes extremely well for Wave shareholderdus and thais a very positive sign for Wave shareholders.

11)Burn rate is about 1.1million plus for Wave and an anticipated $400,000 for Nable or about 1.5 million combined.

I have followed Wave for almost 4 years and have been an investor for 2 plus years. I feel that I know and understand Wave very well, but I am glad the opportunity to attend the luncheon. The Boston and NY recaps from DooWop,Crazy and Rachelaise were terrific but it's not quite the same as being in church and listening to the sermon for yourself (g)

Not only did my understanding of Wave improve, but I have a greater understanding of the large arena that Wave will be playing in. The world is our stage.

One of the major requirements for Wave's success and (that of investors will be time.) Wave will not have 100million chips deployed next month or next year, but they will build upon it year after year.

I am conviced that Wave has a TIRELESS, enthusiastic and extremely dedicated team that will achieve their goals.

Long and loving it

Rem55,

I now have no doubt that WAVE will be a success. I had very little doubt before the meeting. What I got from the meeting was how big this was really going to be. Intellicast is HUGE. If WAVE can make Q3'00 volume OEM shipments 18 months from now we will all have made a killing.
