Problem I have with WIT not getting allocations is I'd like to know WHEN yesterday did they learn that there were no JNPR to distribute!! I spoke to 2 different reps last night at 10:30 pm eastern and 10:45. Both said the Affirmation letters were still going out. Others on Ipostation also posted the same conversations.

At what time yesterday did WIT get its notification about not having any shares to distribute? IF they knew about it during the afternoon, then they should not have played this charade with us. Even if they learned about it by 10:00 pm or later, they could have easily sent the same Dear John notices a lot earlier and stated in the e-mail that they did not get any shares to allocate.

The big question is "WHEN" are these shares allocated to the various distributing underwriters!

Can anyone find this out and post the answer here?

I hope there is nothing more "sinister" about this whole affair. It will really become a big problem if we learn that WIT did receive JNPR shares to allocate and that they kept it for some "special" accounts and didn't allocate to the small investors. They will have a lot of explaining to do. Especially sionce the whole world knows how hot these shares are going to be (IPO price bumped up so high).

Imagine the headlines in Red Herring or TSCM.
