The next closest thing I can relate the PokeMon craze to is when Magic:The Gathering took off a few years back. The difference is, we have a bunch of 4-8 year olds involved this time. Their buying power, I feel, is unrivaled! Look at McDonalds and their Tiny Beanie Babies. Sure, some adults buy them to collect and scalp, but the kids are the ones REALLY running the world of these things.... Now that I think about it, it is amazing to me how much kids have the ability to influence us, as involved adults and parents...
