Jon - I assume that the calls from Bangladesh to New York City are NOT at a rate of 10 cents a minute.

Given that in a long distance call both G* and cell will use the same carriers I would expect the long distance portion to be the same for each. But the local access fee tossed around for G* is significantly more than $0.10 per minute.
