would you happen to know anything about the computer that AOL may give away with their system? They are negotiating with this computer company. But what I wonder is will this computer run Microsoft WORD or even WORDPAD for that matter?

From what I gather, the PC MicroWorkz will offer will be running either Linux or BeOS, not Windows. I know the BeOS PC's will ship with their own proprietary "office" software. Don't know enough about Linux to say whether they would port any Windows applications -- but I would venture that the answer would be no.

The main focus of these PC's will be to jump onto the interne, fast and easy (ala iMac). You can find more info at microworkz.com.

I know very little about this. I heard a news release on ABC radio this AM that mentioned a company that AOL was negotiating with to build the "AOL Computer" and the company was said to be manufacturing very inexpensive systems.

As far as the operating system and MSFT compatibility I have no idea. It would make sense to me that you should be able to load and run what ever software you chose if this is to be a success. On the other hand we also know that AOL and sun are partnered to design a non windows operating system. I believe this non windows system to be for the small mobile hand helds and not a desk top PC such as the one just announced.

I see this as a merger of tech related business models that are designed to stay a few steps ahead of the competition. Dell is doing this in the reverse order.

can you extrapolate your chart and tell us when you think the IPO for Internet company Internet.Internet.com.com will debut?

As far as your question about charting and the IPO I don't understand your question. My charts would not forecast company decisions. They are really a visible picture of what has already occurred.

This looks like a good system that will take any software program including MS products.

Ps: I apologize if this has already been posted. I was busy most of the day trouble shooting a problem with my PC as well as playing a few fighting fish on NASDAQ!
