t2k: It would appear that you think that the market is going up and that it will do so in a rather pronounced manner in which case I would understand your thought that it would be better to be long the calls. If as you or someone else stated the other day believe that the market is churning then selling out of the $ covered calls is found money as they will never be exercised. As usual it depends on what one's perception of the market is. JFD
