I don't see any activity by CSCO. The purchase of Nexabit by LU...probably Avici by NT will leave JNPR and CSCO. Now that Li has left it coulde make a merger between the two more likely. There are lots of connections between the two companies..not the least of which is CEO Scott Kriens who's pals (ex-StrataComers) are over at CSCO.

Today's pricing activity will give the JNPR folks some indication as to what the street thinks they're worth. Once that is done...and after perhaps a couple of quarters of earnings JNPR will likely consider a takeover bid from CSCO....that of course assumes that CSCO isn't in fact building their own....

If Nexabit is worth $900m, Juniper is worth $10B. What share price would that be?
