brian, i never put amat in the same class as mu and never bought puts on amat. i have so many puts on mu... i don't even want to think about them until they are sold...

the dynamics of the two companies are so different... they can't be compared.

amat has done better than i expected. i didn't realize that the dram folks would buy so many guns to shoot themselves. since they are, though, this makes mu even worse an "investment.

they aren't even comparable.

i never commented on amat's pricing.
i never commented on amat's inventory.

please don't mislead. what i am saying about mu is TOTALLY DIFFERENT than amat. you can't compare them.

don't hate me 'cause i called mu so well. i don't call them all (amat is an example - good thing i didn't bet it - yet ;-).

did you miss my congratulations to the amat thread and my acknowledgement that they have done much better than i expected? i don't just disappear when wrong like so many (all?) folks who jump me.

what is good for amat is bad for mu right now.

8 weeks inventory going on 9. prices near $4. incentives to kick in...
