Hi Lost1...If my memory serves correctly, I had just returned from Europe and had been in meetings with several good economicst...The overall view was that things world wide were still headed down and that with the short term indicators having turned down (HiLo, 10 wk, 30 wk and Optionable) I felt it prudent to recommend taking profits on issues that had been running well...

Tommy, has drummed into me about taking profits!!!!! I believe we caught the 3 box reversal on a brief rally, but DELL was not the only issue that we recommended to take profits in...just the worst loser...

I remember shortly after that, DELL was recommended by others...however even though the P&F charts showed buy signals, I felt that the overall situation had not changed and that more than likely the down trend would continue...as it has...

I'm not always right on my choises, but with P&F and a plan we're far ahead of the average and most are quite happy...

I find that other than taking profits, most have a very hard time letting the stocks come to them...ie waiting for the pullback...but both are very important to increase profitability.
