07:47 [LU] LUCENT SAYS NEXABIT BUY WILL BE NEUTRAL FOR 1999, 2000 EARNINGS.

Neutral for '99, probably. Neutral for 2000, HA! Nexabit's gonna smoke under the LU umbrella. Maybe some Ashby conservatism poking it's head through the clouds! We ASNDers know better!

GO LUSCEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JNPR market cap (at $100/share) = $4.74 billion. Verrry pricey indeed.

Good luck to all,

Gary,

Juniper is a more mature company and is at least an entire year older than Nexabit. The hw at nexabit is far more advanced, with the sw catching up.

Time will tell, but I am going to bet on LU getting the nexabit box right up there in total sales with any other terabit box.
