The key difference between other stock related suits and what occurred last month with Pyng is that the individual ASO specifically identified the 4 sites that were either just beginning trials or were still in the midst. So I don't see the comparison really, as those other cases were likely based on personal sentiment towards the relevant company rather than concrete evidence. I'm sure Pyng management did not expect people to call up the various sites to confirm their claim that all trials were complete.

I'm sure Mr. Jacobs realizes that a lawsuit would be a waste of his time and money, as he would inevitably lose. The reason is that the news release pertaining to the "completion of field trials" was very misleading if not an outright fallacy. Given the fact that 3 sites were only beginning and that an important site (Rural/Metro) was only half complete is compelling evidence. I personally followed up the ASO posting of the phone numbers and called up the 4 sites. They informed me that the trials they were beginning to conduct was to be mutually beneficial for both parties, and in turn data and information was to be forwarded to Pyng, indicating that trials were not, and still aren't complete. So AriKirA, this case is very different from other cases, as evidence and witnesses are prominent. Sorry to have to let you know that. Hopefully Pyng will bounce back once sales begin in the future.
