Bob Re:Trial membership (without posting privileges) is available for up to 14 days from a person's first login, but once they subscribe, even if it's within the first 14 days, they are no longer a trial member. I have been known to give an SI membership as a Gift on more then one occasion. It is not a comfortable feeling to find that your gift must include an exchange of physical addresses with someone because SI no longer will accept less then a credit card. As strange as this must sound to you or others about giving away SI memberships to friends........being a smart Internet user is high on my list of priorities. My question to you, is there a way to buy another person a membership without personal disclosures? Even "Mickey D" makes provisions for this at certain times of the year. If I am off base here please tag me with the sweeping movement that you are known for on this thread. Mark McQuire
