What will be the next product line initiative? Sporting goods & jewelry? Fish finders & watches? Aren't they digital? DigitalUSA?

Want to confuse a customer? Ask them if they prefer their product analog or digital. We sell cameras, but only digital - we sell phones, but only digital - we sell videos, but only digital. We sell electronics, but only digital. If you want a real choice, you'll have to go Best Buy or Circuit City.

Are they getting into music CDs? They're digital aren't they? Someone told me some water faucets now have a chip in them. Does that make them digital?

OK, I'll give them a chance. I'm probably overreacting. It will be interesting to see the results of the changes.

Buddy

Some good sales are coming to make room for the new product lines.

I disagree that they are anywhere near going bankrupt.

I am out of the stock because I am not sure I like this news (and it hit my stop at 7.5). Who are they going to be competing against? Circuit City and Besy Buy? I don't think they can compete with them heads on. They had an advantage as a computer retailer because they carried 3 times the stuff BBY carried. If I needed soemthing other than basic hardware or basic software I went to CPU. Are they not going to have the other stuff now? Now they are reducing that to carry DVDs? They already sell digital cameras and PDAs so I don't know what the hell they are talking about in the press release. What kind of toys are they going to sell? Those electronic pets?

I am going to watch and see what happens. I think if it gets back into the 6s I may buy, but not before then. The Price to sales ratio is very low still. They have good coverage in their locations also.
