Chuck,

It means that you and I are on opposite sides of the fence in terms of agreeing on company fundamentals. I personally see AMD as a big hole in the ground into which money can be dropped at a tremendous rate. Intel, if it so desired, could "manage" AMD's bottom line numbers to -$200M per quarter for the next 50 years if it wanted to. There's tremendous downside potential still for AMD.

Likewise, we're on opposite sides of the Rambus fence as well. I guess the only difference, though, is that I don't come over and s**t in the pool on the AMD boards. If you guys want to believe AMD will conquer all, that's your right, but I'd have to be some kind of a*****e to come over and tell you that you're a bunch of idiots. Unless, of course, I disclosed exactly how short I was and at what price and how worried I was about it.

Personally, I wish the SEC would stop letting people short stocks. It just turns some of them into jerks. I'd like to see everyone have to invest in companies they believe in, then we could all root for each other (the Rodney King "can't we all just get along" syndrome).
