Limit orders - The Chief meant restrictions not limits.

A limit order is simply an non-market buy or sell order that has a price attached. These show up on MD

The restrictions that do not show up on depth are any orders that are all or none or have a minimum# of shares attached to the order

Edited...i meant "special term orders not Limit orders....they are "all or none", "fill or kill" "Stop loss", "buy stop" etc. etc.....any "conditional order does not show u in market depth
