OT - Guarded U.S. clears suspect North Korea site << The United States said Friday thorough inspection of a suspect underground site in North Korea showed it could not be used for a major nuclear project in its present form. More details from the U.S. inspection were released as senior U.S., South Korean and Japanese officials held their third meeting in a month to coordinate policies toward Pyongyang's isolated Stalinist government. The U.S. inspection at the Kumchang-ri site last month has helped defuse a major source of friction even as a North Korea-South Korea naval skirmish in the Yellow Sea and other recent confrontations continued to roil East Asia tensions ... more ... >> abcnews.go.com Does anyone know where in North Korea 'Kumchang-ri' is? ... I was wondering if it is near the border area and could be used to hide and protect troops in any invasion of the south. Just curious as to what other uses it might have.
