Folks, please...

This back-and-forth nonsense is really somethin' else.

I'm long FCM, and have been for years. I've done lots of my own DD (beginning years ago) and am quite comfortable with my investment. Sadly, I can't for the life of me understand how a thread that should be providing relatively sane opinions, both pro and con, has degenerated into this -- V-spec or no V-spec.

As a matter of fact, I haven't posted either here or even on Vic's old FTEL thread in a long time now precisely because of all this incessant bickering -- bickering which literally never stops. (I know, "free speech," but how about some civility?)

The bottom line for me (and perhaps for many other lurkers) is: while I still try to regularly scan the various Franklin threads (including this one) in the hopes that I'll occasionally run across some good information, such knowledge is harder and harder to glean from these "shouting match" threads.

Again, this is sad, because all this emerging technology coupled with the brave new world of Internet communications should make these public forums exciting, cutting edge places to be!

Ah, in my dreams, I suppose...

Back to lurking.
