AOL PCs? - 10:01 AM EST - TK
America Online is reportedly in talks with Microworkz Inc., a maker of cheap PCs, for a partnership or even an outright buy-out. Can an AOL-branded computer or i-net appliance be far behind?

America Online Inc. appears close to getting into the PC business. MSNBC has learned that the world's No. 1 Internet access company is in talks to produce AOL-branded PCs in conjunction with Microworkz Inc., a manufacturer of inexpensive computers. On Monday, at the PCExpo trade show in New York, Microworkz announced its new $200 computer /Internet appliance, called the iToaster. Latman confirmed to MSNBC that he left the show early on Tuesday to engage in talks about a possible AOL-branded box. But the deal might go even farther; a source close to the negotiations says AOL is interested in an outright acquisition of the discount box maker. - ZDnet

>>Hector, your 2500 shares are down by roughly $15,000 in the 2 1/2 hours or so since you posted this dreamy scenario. I'm sure this is but a minor delay in your march upward towards millionaire status.
Here's your chance to get that last 500!
