So with today almost behind us, what is the opinion of what next week holds? The man with glasses will out tuesday and will hopefully announce his 1/4 point or 1/2 and say he's done. My cost basis is not what most of yours is so I have to be faithful on good and bad days. Just hoping for an up turn following this buying opportunity.

Thx. Dutch

GV,

Even if every single share of the outstanding shares were sold short, there still would be twice as many people long as short. It never is a zero sum game in the stock market, there always is a loss of wealth when a stock goes down and a gain in wealth when a stock goes up.

I'm was considering a very micro level with my statement. If I'm long 100 shares and you're short 100 shares, then for every buck it goes up or down, we win/lose an equal amount. Even if in reality it's 1M long shares and 500K short shares, it sets us head-to-head against one another, so we get people appearing out of the blue who are trying to scare us out of or into our shares. As I mentioned in another message, it still wouldn't matter because if we're both long in competitors, you'd root against my team and the same thing could still happen.

Thanks one more time.

Dave
