The mini crash of 87 was actually good to me. I was in Canada then and was short shares of the Toronto Dominion Bank as well as Bombardier. Crashed are generally good to me since I'll go short or long as req'd. The tough parts are when the market is flat, like in 89, 94 and most of 96. If you ever want to know by what principals I go by, let me know - there aren't many and they are simple :-)
