Is FOMC really that terrible? I don't think so.
Is the market manipulated by bears? Yes.
After FOMC, I think it will be bulls' turn to manipulate
this market.

Hey Mo,..Re:. U.S. Economy's Growth Is Boosting Earnings-OOooooh bad news (NOT)

Thanks for the article. And just what do we expect share prices to do in the wake of good earnings? <vbg> Also heard there's going to be a larger budget surplus than previously estimated, now how's that going to affect the dollar?<g>

Only problem with a strong dollar is that companies like MMM will come out at earnings complaining again about losses due to the strong dollar! They've done this for nearly 18 months now yet I noticed in one of the money flows today, people are still buying MMM and DIS and other perceived 'value' stocks. How come INTC, DELL, MSFT and other successful tech companies never complain about the strong dollar?? Must be cause they either know how to hedge or are getting their asking price?

The bond schmoes can worry all summer for all I care. LOL! They will find something to worry about even without strong eco numbers. All this agonizing over a 25bp rate hike makes you wonder what they're going to do waiting for the August meeting. Lot of supply keeps coming to market too which tells me corporations don't see much of a slowdown coming, else they wouldn't be raising capital for upgrades and improvements.

Thanks,

Lee
