MSFT above $90 at some point after the July 4th holiday and prior to options expiry I expect. If you are using options and want to see $100 then I think it is safer to eat a little premium now and go with August calls to better capture a run to the $100 level.

I found the August options too expensive considering the July earnings season is going to be over. The july options will expire a day or so before earnings (based upon tentative release dates). The earnings run-up if any should happen in the first half of July in anticipation of great earnings. August or late July might have selloffs just like last year. I think we should hit 90 easily by the end of next week and hopefully more beyond that price in the following week or earlier. That is why i think the earnings run up can be better caught with the July calls.

Go Microsoft.

BTW--That was a stupid comment from the DOJ. What difference should it make in settlement talks? After all they are after the right solution, representing the public. Unbelievably stupid.
