I'm not sure there were any particular rumors but, Tyson's business suddenly mushroomed to where he needed more capacity and had enough bucks booked to make them an offer they could not refuse. I can't imagine where his sudden spurt of business may have come from. Hah!!

I don't know if you are aware of how Tyson runs his chicken business or not but it seems a little unethical to me. All over northern Arkansas and southern Missouri are independently owned small farms which have been enlisted to grow his chickens for him.The problem I have with this, is that he loans them the money to build all the chicken houses, sells them the chicks, and then buys them back when they are grown but, the burden of the loan puts these people under a burden that most can never get out of it. It's almost a form of sharecropping, which was, not too large a step from slavery.
