VLSI . what is the new ticker? Looks like it stopped trading on 6/22

I have in my 401k and know Philips was buying them but it was my understanding VLSI would remain on its own.

I know that IDTC is a favorite among short-sellers. . .could be that what you are seeing is not buying strength, but short-covering rallies. . .then new positions are taken. LOTS of stocks behave in this manner. Makes it hard to know which way momentum is going. . .and that is why we take our time picking our stocks VERY VERY carefully.

If I get criticized by readers for anything. . .it is that I am too careful about the stocks I jump into. A "careful stock trader" is SUPPOSED to be an oxymoron.

There is a market for internet telephony. . . but not necessarily via dedicated systems of any sort. . .GIC has an option that connects to their set-top boxes. . .for internet telephony. I suspect other set-top box makers are doing same. If you are going to get internet from digital fibre optics via cable. . .you may as well run your phone service with it.

That is why I am not jumping into dedicated internet telephony makers.
