Peter, don't think I'd call any day so far "heavy institutional buying". I know that is the way folks like to think of it, but I think I started this as I have periodically reported block trading. Admittedly over the last week or so I've seen more blocks traded in a week than ever in the time I've followed, but I don't consider 20-60K of block buys daily significant other than the fact I've never seen it before with this stock. Looks more to me like one, maybe two institutions may be buying. Many stocks I follow trade nearly half their daily volume in block trades such as LU...169 block trades for almost 4300000 shares...I think it traded over 230 blocks yesterday.

FWIW, I show 9 blocks today, 57K in 5 trades at bid or better, 35K in 3 trades at bid or below, and one in between bid/ask.

Good luck.

>>Heavy institution buying activities in IDTC today. But they are offset by some small sellers (or shorts?). Apparently, institutions are getting in for the ride in the next couple of weeks. <<

Heavy institutional buying today? Are you relying on Thompson Iwatch for that? Institutions rarely buy to hold only for a few weeks. So, if they are indeed buying, they should help dry up the float for a good while.
