Excert from Washington Post Article 6/25/99

Compaq Computer confirmed it is in talks over a possible sale of a controlling stake in AltaVista, its Internet search engine, to CMGI. According to Compaq, the talks also involve the establishment of strategic relationship between the two companies to advance Compaq's Internet strategy.

IMHO, Very Important! "STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIP"! This is fantastic, because Compaq does seem to be a little confused on how to utilize those assets. I would love to own CMGI via Compaq. Both companies are very exciting. Compaq's services, if they can get that part of their business on a roll. The rest is history. I think people will come to there senses soon and start buying opposed to selling. I am a patient person. But I don't think the reorganization of this company needs to take very long. Maybe as early as six months. Good Luck To Everyone.
