Fido began allowing Nasdaq stops about 6 to 8 months ago.

I've also recently discovered that Fido will let you short selected recent IPOs if they have them in their own client inventory. For example, I've been shorting ETYS for over a week and I got off a short on JWEB today!

Does anyone notice that shorts become "open" a lot faster now?

It used to take 2-3 mins but many now take a few seconds.
