I am not sure about the "allocation e-mail" I only found out my husbands account had shares of STAD when I received the official paperwork in the snail MAIL. The shares are definitely in his account...and since STAD stock is up today...well maybe that is not such a bad thing.

The whole problem started when I opened an account for both myself and husband...but used the same e-mail address for both accounts. WIT told me if you do that...you cannot tell which account you are confirming to...and you may get shares in both accounts if you placed a conditional offer from both accounts.

That is what happened in this case!

Live and learn,
Mary
