Keven - Re: Here's a news flash: AMD will be selling the story that the K7 uses the same platform infrastructure that the Alpha does. You know, the technology that goes in the boxes that cost $50,000 and you trust your mission critical apps to.

If the Alpha 'platform infrastructure' is so darned good, why do they plan to ship 750MHz Alpha's with AMD K7 'platform infrastructure' (incl. modified AMD chipsets, power supplies, m/b form factors..)?
