windsock,

Re:" Intel revokes Via's chipset license, files lawsuit:"

This is truly a bozo move on Intels part.

This will hurt them big time in Taiwan and help AMD get more support.

Secondly as the alleged vhip sets are made by National they would be covered by National's Intel license - so Intel doesn't have much of a legal leg to stand upon.

Regards,

Kash

Intel revokes Via's chipset license, files lawsuit:

Another boneheaded move by Intel. They are acting like a monopolist - even though they aren't one.

Is Intel management taking stupid pills?

At the same time, they cut a deal with ALI. Strange move.
