Goldman-Sach's Precious Metals Commodity Index is the "Chart of the Week" on stockcharts.com

I just finished uploading the article which includes a historic gold price chart as well as weekly and daily bar charts of the GSCI Precious Metals index. I'm sure I don't need to tell people here that May was a disaster, but did you notice that this week we had two consecutive up days for the first time since the start of May?

If you do visit the site and read the article, please send us feedback so we can continue to improve.

Thanks,
Chip

An interesting scenario from Global-view Financial discussion forum (by: Cape Town )

Gold//Apparently Aron (Goldman Sachs) has
beeen buying 270 August calls which expire
the friday after the auction. A la 70s, perhaps
Aron will hold the market down through next
Friday, then jump the bid price at the auction
and win 100% of the sale (this happened a
couple of times in the 70s) - other buyers
would be shut out and would have to pay up
immediately, forcing the market higher and
shorts to begin covering.

And from the Forex forum at same site:
