Marvin,

Oops.. first, this is for James, the Windows butt boy... on CMP Media announcing it is shutting down Windows Magazine

Part of the reason for today's decision is that readers are now less interested in the desktop market and more interested in a networked, server-centric environment, Watkins said.

Networked?? Server centric?? Sounds a lot like what Sun does..

news.com

I sold around a thousand shares of SUNW and LU a couple weeks ago.. just before the last down turn... though I was right on.. only to see the highs tested... in the past 9 years I've never been right about selling most of my tech stocks (save for Iomega.. grin) and have missed huge opportunities.

Will higher interest rates and potential Y2K psychological impacts drag SUN down??? I though so, and still kind of do.... but, if we're going to be invested somewhere, the SUNWs and LUs are probably good places to be..

FYI.. I've been about 60% in cash the past year..

Cheers
Roger
