Hmmm, from what I can see on Monday's intraday chart (BigCharts, 5-day range, 1-minute resolution), the "lazy uptrend" early that day has exactly the same steep slope as the rest of the day, the "gap up to 22+" was a fast but non-gap move to 21 3/4, and the highest volume and largest trades of the day all occurred *before* the so-called "gap". IMHO this "500M theory", fascinating as it may be, is built on rather flimsy evidence.
