Reading just a few of the posts it seems in fact that she has a lot to contribute,

Read a few more :)
She makes statements, like Man insiders own no shares, and then doesn't back them up with numbers. Numbers are easy to obtain, and almost as easy to post. I asked her to elaborate on why my numbers are so different, but she did not contribute that info.

Also, the notion that one could see gold in the core is ridiculous.

CSW sales by brokerage for june gives Cannacorde and Haywood as huge sellers, in my experience these two houses are often prescient in these matters, to put it politely.

Let's look at the numbers:

#2 net seller Canaccord sold 453,305 and #1 Haywood sold 227,700. I guess that's huge selling. I'm not sure if that indicates prescience or not, as those were the numbers for May, and the avg. selling price was $3.77 and $3.79. Let's see how they did for June.

In June, Canaccord bought 847,754 and sold 1,029,102 for net sales of 181,348 net $787,870. That 847,754 ranked second in buy volume, so if they were prescient, they didn't share it with a lot of accounts. Also, the avg. buy price was $5.21 compared to $5.06 avg. sell. Even better, starting at June 1 they sold 312,200 before manhattan had cleared $4.00, and 561367 before the release of assays, at an average selling price of $4.04. Since the 17th, the release of assays, Canaccord has been a net BUYER.

Haywood sold 535,100, ranking 4th in terms of sale volume -- 208,800 before assays.

I'm not sure I like their record.

I can check with someone that can probably find out what Canaccord's feelings are, if you like. Haywood I haven't got a clue, but I seem to recall something about a fund that uses Haywood. They could just be doing the right thing and selling into a double. Nothing wrong with that. Maybe Mike Mallard can elaborate.

Around financings I think it is difficult to interpret volume in any event, since sometimes houses lighten up to participate in a placement.

I think Mark has been very polite to Madam Liz. She is the one who needs to lighten up. We all are interested in sharing information. Problem is she supplies very little and makes a lot of noise, usually via insults.

Mark has decided to not post to her and fair enough....I choose to respond in kind....different strokes for different folks...

Dale,

FWIW, I agree that Liz is well versed in this field and has a lot to offer. She is clearly experienced and has an in-depth knowledge of the biz. I told her that is a private post several months ago.
However she needs to lose the edge and get rid of the anti-male bias.

EG.,

"Jeez, and here I thought I was using lingo that the boys, would understand ....... post "

" ..... What sense of humour? Most men I know tell me that women should be obscene and not heard. "

"You boys, should read more financial statements, especially of the beloved St Jude."

So - what's this "boys" thing all about? Why is is necessary to couch her comments, using these terms.

These are just a few examples ..... over the many months I have followed her posts, there have been others.

In addition, as Jeff has pointed out, some of her statements are a little too broad sweeping with inaccuracies (perhaps I should rephrase that :) a trait she clearly despises and is very quick to call others on.

Finally - she would likely garner a much more receptive audience; there would be much less confrontation, and more importantly, a dialogue could ensue, that would encourage an intelligent and mutually worthwhile exchange of knowledge and ideas - if she dropped some of the baggage she seems to be bring to this board and took the edge off her tone.

This is a biz we are all, always learning about - best we treat one another with respect and dignity, so as few of us as possible lose our butts in this game (long or short) .... that's what I hope SI is all about.

We are all on the side of making money - Liz's input, as part of that process, is indeed important.

Best to you,

MB
