<Remember, those who stay away too long may be surprised to return to a series of posts speculating on their personal life and skimpy bathing attire. Speaking of which, has Stitch gone AWOL again? -Z>

Well, I'm back from a longish family jaunt to various parts of rural Europe, and I can't say that I have gone back and read every post since I left, but I trust that no pictures--either of the gif or word variety--of me in skimpy bathing attire appeared while I was gone. I find upon returning that all of our favorite[sic] companies have warned, Mark is still unable to write two consecutive paragraphs without a question mark, Z is still pounding the table for HTCH and badmouthing all of its customers, LK seems to have gone to trader heaven (best of luck to you, if you're reading this, and remember--buy lots of QNTM and HOLD!), and all of us apparently generally befuddled and extremely pessimistic, making predictions like "SEG won't warn" and comments to the effect of "why on earth would anyone buy these stocks?" and "why are we here anyway?" while a stock like MTIC has suddenly become the best performer in the storage company universe.

Questions and comments that all warm my heart. My brief two cents, FWIW: all is playing out according to script, we will have a wonderful BO of surviving companies in August or September. Not there yet though, although QNTM is still a buy here. It would appear from EXBT's stock price that Mammouth is a day late and a dollar short to put a dent in DLT. And it seems that tape drive systems have a very long incubation period before they can get out successfully, so I don't believe that LTO will ramp in volume for quite awhile, though it is always possible that I am underestimating a company like IBM. We'll see.

Best wishes to all,
Sam
