Jill N:

I wonder what market will $ 199 "computer" be targeting? The senior citizen/baby boomers at retirement age, just to use the device to get online and chat with whoever friends that are still alive? The majority of these folks are not going to spend two grand for a 500MHz computers. The young guys prefer real computers with speed, memory, storage, dvd, etc since they are into games. AOL has so far executed its business model flawlessly: the strength of AOL is in service, and not hardware. It used to be that selling puts on AOL stock is slam dunk, the puts expire worthless. Not lately. I sold a lot of AOL Jan00 puts which were way out of the money, thinking they would be safe, yet currently they are in the money. Could LeMicro be AOL's PC Jr?

Best regards

Paul
