Your excellent analysis leaves little to the imagination. Seems reasonable that funds would not be limited to specific market caps being created by others before being allowed to compete.

Your list 1)-4) will likely keep ANCR performing as each story unfolds. And item 5) might include several upcoming quarters of fantastic revenue and earnings comparisons vs. prior year.

I agree that anticipation of fund interest at >500M market cap may well have been a factor on Monday... looking at the past several weeks, Monday broke out of a strong trend channel (the remainder of the week was spent re-establishing the previous trend). Aftbaz gives us a plausible explanation for the fact that Monday ran ahead of the trend - trying to tie it to the minutiae of the intraday chart was a bit too far-fetched for my taste though.
