Do any of you math whiz's out there know the algorithm that produces this result?

Roy, not a math whiz, but years ago I wrote a small program (in dBase) to do the computation as Macmillian explained in his book (OSI). I trust in the updated version of the book he still provides the formula.

Just some experience speaking.... I found that all the computations, algorithms, and programs didn't mean a hoot to profits if the underlying issue was the wrong one. Wasted a lot of time barking at the wrong door.

I have to chuckle. It must not be worth something if he wants to sell it in the first place. It surely won't command a few hundred thousand like Eric Clapton's 1957 Fender Stratrocaster guitar he used to record Layla......

Maybe Ebay could do something for him! You would think he (MacMillan) would give it to the one-million poster on Silicon Investor recently which happened on this forum by the way! That dude posted a few things on our forum and took off with the prize! Has not been back since. What thanks do we get????? :-)
