LT,

I spent quite a time getting the facts to respond to this question. Then my computer crapped out on me.

Between Jun 1996 and now, we have had 8 "major" signals from the electric utility indicator and the average number of days to a sell-off is 19.6, the mean is 20 and the mode is 21 days. The shortest time was about 6 days but, as you can see, a figure of 20-21 days is probably close. We actually had 2 signals, a minor one which broke a down-trend line of prior signals and the the major signal which occurred the past Friday, June 24th.

So this gives us around the 7th for one downturn and then the 14th-15th for the major one.

And if I look at my batwings and eyes of newt...

BWDIK?

Bill

PS Downturns were minimum 5% and max of the 20% or so we had last year.
