Red,

Thanks for your posts.

Cutting and pasting one sentence is literally taking stuff out of context. Read in context, I was trying to say that the recent share price is reflecting past successes (in launching the W-OFDM I.WiLL product) not future successes in business negotiations.

Given the size of the purchasing blocks yesterday, do you think that maybe we are getting a slightly different group of investors in? It is generally difficult to hype stock to institutions.

It is important to understand the importance of W-OFDM before we judge on Tuesday's launch.

But please do short the stock. I am not here to give you investment advice. I am here to clarify things. There are much better experts out there and in here regarding investing and shorting and longing.

Have a good weekend.

Hatim

Hi Red. I think what we are seeing here is that the Wi-Lan yahoos are frustrated by the fact that questions are starting to be raised. Surfer is brainwashing himself by thinking that I want to be some kind of legend in my mind. I COULD GIVE A S@@T!

Questions like how much does it cost, how big is it, how many customers can be run on each one are not being asked. These are critical questions my friend. Now some Stock house”R” is bragging about modem racks.
The thread is praising the financials without asking how the numbers will get better. Contracts are one thing but how will the modems be produced. What is Wi-Lans cost per modem. Will WIN continue to produce or out source them to the ASIANS? <G>

Remember that in Sweden things work different. The biggest issue is that they pay for the Internet per minute on the phone lines and not that many high speed links(T1, ATM, ISDN) are not as abundant as they are here.
Who is providing Wireless within Canada? What do they think of WIN?
What is the big 10$ target based on? Faith in more contracts, financial statements ? Why has telus not signed them up.. They've had a trial running since a while back remember. Even though it was just one modem its been how long? Honestly I can't remember?

Anyway, I don't know about any more news that's in the works, if I catch wind I'll PM you and will try and stay off this forum for a while.

Cheers

PS TO HATIM. Your 7 years work has been a long battle and you really have done a great job. IMHO there is nothing wrong with getting into the details which I feel the thread has been missing.
