Well, all of your erroneous assumptions are forgiven, Joan. I am occasionally condescending but I think it is rather obvious when I am, and I would not want you to think ill of me when it is a simple misunderstanding. I do not like packaged tapioca puddings either, actually, and either make it from scratch or buy it at Trader Joe's, where it is surprisingly good. I also enjoy chocolate tapioca pudding. What are tapiocas made of, anyway? Are they little spider eggs, as my daughter suspects (she is afraid of spiders), or is tapioca some sort of grain? And do you by any chance know how your mother made the pudding with coffee? I would love to know.
