Microsoft Ramsey, I've now read your great rant Message 10280790 I admit to not having added up the numbers because I have no intention in the slightest of buying MSFT stock. My point was just that there are a LOT of sales to go for MSFT. While it's true that China is fond of royalty free copying, Condor and other little tricks will reduce the ability to copy. China will pay. Whether they, and I, pay enough to make MSFT a good investment compared with Q! G* and others I have no idea. WirelessKnowledge will be BIG deal. Jim Willie said Message 10282317 that Microsoft is an evil joint venture partner. I find it fun that Irwin has seen fit to set up WirelessKnowledge with $ill Gates. I think that Irwin tamed the great, powerful and evil GSM Nazis, who now have been absorbed into the CDMA world. He will have $ill Gates for breakfast, or, if things go right, simply make, along with $ill, $$billions and $$billions from WirelessKnowledge. Which is fine by me. It's called a Win-Winn-Win position. Okay, I agree, don't take my comments as a "BUY MSFT" because that is not my intention here. To get Chinese language sites, you still have to use the characters on your keyboard, but that seems to be good enough for the gold rush to be on. You can't enter Kanji and register that [yet]. It's called Romaji in Japanese, I don't know in Chinese. For example, think of the Chinse word for New Zealand or Australia, type that in to register.com to see whether it is taken, and you will find Tarken languageonline or maybe eigoonline or Tarken sitting there as the 'owner'. Incidentally, I should remind viewers that the main thing wrong with MSFT from Ramsey's point of view and making him specially vituperative about it to the extent of 100 line rants, is that his mother-in-law has been explaining to him for a decade how well her MSFT shares have been going. AND she bought some Q! with some spare change just before the big rise [since her dear son-in-law had been going on about it for some time]. So, while Ramsey spends decades thinking, figuring, learning and putering, she just sees $ill on a plane and buys. Then times the market right on Q! cause Ramsey is really a nice guy. That must be VERY annoying to serious spreadsheet investors like Ramsey! She does 'relationship' investing.
