You may be right JDN. Short interest is very high which is a bullish indicator. If we rally after Wednesday it will be a relief rally and will not be sustained in my opinion. Why? bonds will be a better place to hold money. Yields are higher and bonds are much safer. I think stocks will suffer despite few pre-announcements of missing quarter earnings.

I have changed to a near-term bearish stance.

I don't think Greenspan wants to strengthen an already strong dollar, either. JMHO.
