LOL, but actually a toll bridge would be a great investment provided there wasn't any other way across the water.

Ramsey, I'm a newcomer to Q, but a believer (60% of my portfolio). I look for the msft/csco/intc model in my investments, which is the classic Gorilla Game (by Geoffrey Moore). I got into Mr. Softee very late - January 1997 - and even then many were saying it was too late. Let's compare its performance over that period with Q:

With its recent run, Q is the better performer, but msft hasn't exactly dragged down my portfolio. They are in the process of shape shifting from an 800 pound Gorilla to a 8,000 pound Cash Cow, with net margins in excess of 40% for the past few quarters!. Imo, investing in them is like putting your money in a bank with a guaranteed 85% interest rate. Isn't that good enuf for you???

If you think market cap is the limitation, add together the caps of the baby bells, lu, and t and see what you come up with. Bill could easily split msft into 4 companies (in fact, he's already divisionalized in that manner), blow off the doj, and make his shareholders richer.

Ramsey, it's easy to hate Mr. Softee, and many do, but I think you may be letting emotion blind you to an incredible wealth building investment.

Jmho,
Frank
