I agree ISPs are dead, I said all ISPs were shorts in this post a month ago...

The problem is the even more desperate boxmakers are in talks with the ISPs... well, almost any failing tech business is in talks with an ISP... so its keeping the prices high even though there is no there there

Had I actually shorted mspg or elnk or flas I could have made a little on a short term trade, thats it, or actually lost $$... right now everything is about even

Dial up on a per charge may be dead....DSL will add a little life to them.

Most of the ISPs I deal with...some are mom and pops, some are brand names, hate dial up as it is. Not a lot of revenue, a lot of equipment involved and a whole lot of customer support needed. Most would either deal with strictly business class 56k to DS-3 customers and have DSL as a secondary offering to consumers and SOHO customers.
