Mehitabel, Compaq announced a "Desktop Replacement Program" regarding notebooks about a week ago. A good concept. Dell will likely push this initiative as well as they are in a good position to do so. Corporate clients have been seeing the value behind this concept for some time... it's possibly now a good time to turn up the heat with work/home portability offerings. This will also help slow the rapid the ASP declines we are seeing in desktops. Too bad, Gateway, NEC and SHARP did not go the extra mile in making these all-in-one designs "built with portability in mind". I believe Dell will address this issue with their entry (if everyone else hasn't by then). MEATHEAD
