Off GNET topic for a moment: I have Roadrunner cable access (sole offering in this area) coming in two weeks @ $39.95/mo. How does this compare with Charter and @Home prices?

Carolyn, Can you network multiple computers through your single cable modem and ISP with a simple network hub ? This is what I love about my DSL hook up (through US West). I pay $50 @ month for 384k speed up and down and $20 @ month for my ISP, which may seem spendy, but they gave me a $300 modem and hooked me up(one quick visit) for "an introductory special" of $99.00. My ISP gave me a dynamic IP address, so now we have 3 computers in the house with high speed access using the same modem and IP address and the roommates split the monthly cost of $70. This seems like a slick deal for small businesses and I was wondering if you can do the same thing with cable access ?
Best of all is that the infastructure is already in place and I can run my phone on the same line. DSL is where it is at near term IMO.
