<A mere mentioning on this thread by myself a few weeks back of the unexpected candor by burlington northern that they don't have a prayer of being y2k compliant until well after 2008 only got a "WHATTTTTTTT?" by CK demanding an expired URL.>

I couldn't figure out if you, when you said "CK" if you were talking about Cheeky Kid or me ... cause I knew I definitely didn't do that.

This is all I could find. Why in the world would you refer to this as a "demand"?

bearcub,

Do you have a link??? Anybody else hear about this? If true, there must have been some heated discussion somewhere.

Thanks,

Cheryl

Burlington Northern & Union Pacific Y2K Status

I looked for a press release and couldn't find it ... However, while both companies appear to be somewhat late, they appear on track to complete this year.

bearcub,

Sometimes people don't participate in discussions cause they're off-line for a few days or they have other priorities and don't have much time to participate in discussions. It doesn't necessarily mean they're not interested or don't care.

Cheryl

P.S. You never mentioned that the URL was expired - until today. You responded to my request for a URL by saying that you didn't have it and that maybe someone else could help out.
